I'm proud of this bird feeder I made on the wheel. It only allows small birds to get on and feed on the chia seeds inside.
The one next to it is usually emptied by big birds quite quickly. Do you have a bird feeder? 🐦

NOW I wanted to capture there 'now'. That moment in time. The feeling. Just me and some clay and time. The freedom I felt. The space and opportunity. It was so wonderful. This set of tiles with words I Associate with 'now' will always remind me of it. Of my love for ceramics. Of my wealth with the opportunity to do this.
Nu is Dutch for now. The letters are also interchangeable if you hold the tile upside down.
The last one is separate. I wanted to hold on to that moment. To catch and keep it. So I imprisoned it. It feels wrong immediately, doesn't it?

The words on the side translate to: fleeting, gone, short and illusive.

Enjoying my morning matcha latte from my self-made chawan (matcha tea bowl) brings me serenity, calm, and yet also energy to start my day. It's a special moment I create for myself that feels very rewarding. ❤️

Kom ook op za 28 sept. naar de Magische Fantasy Braderie bij Wijkcentrum de Inval in Purmerend. Alle heksen, tovenaars en elfjes verzamelen!

Ik sta buiten met mijn keramiek! Het festival is gratis toegankelijk en heel erg leuk en gezellig. (Ik was er vorig jaar als bezoeker.) Ook voor kinderen!
