‘Celtic Folk Extravaganza’, what do we mean by that?

It's hundreds of years of traditions ancient and modern: folk stories of women or men walking with shillelaghs, drinking with friends and enemies, high-energy music formats like jigs & reels and the sound of bagpipes and banjos. Inject into this mix a serious dose of modern rock & pop , driving beats, and infectious sing-alongs… then watch it explode!
Celtic Folk Extravaganza isn't folk that strictly follows tradition, i.e. it's not a museum-piece or a re-enactment of tradition; it’s a high-octane musical celebration. A fiery, foot-stomping show where the traditions are celebrated but challenged, swung into live crowds through the hands of Sjoerd, Thomas, Dom, Paul and Gillian. When it reaches you, it is transformed into a different beast altogether, new dances are born, we clap, dance, drink and shout! ...Or at least tap a foot, and before long standing still is no longer an option.
