Afgelopen weekend hebben we voor de derde en laatste keer Mozarts Requiem en Rutters Magnificat mogen opvoeren! In juni speelden we het in Leiden en Bonn, nu in oktober voor de laatste keer in de St. Michael & All Angels Church in Oxford. We hebben een supertof concert neergezet en natuurlijk hebben we ook de ons bekende stad herontdekt.
Deze trilogie aan concerten hebben we ten slotte mogen afsluiten met een ceìlidh, een dansfeest uit Ierland en Schotland. Hoewel we verdrietig zijn dat we dit project vaarwel moeten zeggen, zijn er zeker superleuke projecten in de toekomst die al op de horizon sprankelen. We hebben er zin in!
Last weekend we got to play Mozart's Requiem and Rutter's Magnificat once more! You might have heard us in June in Leiden or Bonn; now, in October, finished with a bang in the St. Michael & All Angels Church in Oxford. We played a marvelous concert and of course we had the chance to rediscover the wonderful city.
After the concert, we truly said goodbye to the Mozart-Rutter trilogy with a ceìlidh, a traditional Gaelic social gathering full of music and dancing. While we are very sad to bid this project farewell, other projects just as amazing as this one are lined up around the corner, which we're superexcited for!
