Ciao the Show Samoyed

05/10/2026

After some wonderful experiences in Belgium and Germany, this weekend we were able to add Poland to our international experiences as well. 🇵🇱 And what an amazing weekend it was!

The weather was fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxed, and we are once again incredibly proud of the judges’ reports we received. ❤️

On Saturday, we were awarded 1st Excellent (Doskonała) and received our first CWC/CAC, accompanied by a wonderful judge’s report from Aleksandra Lubaszka (PL).

On Sunday, we added our second CWC/CAC, again with 1st Excellent (Doskonała). This time, Zdenka Jílková (CZ) was the judge. And, as the icing on the cake, we were also awarded an rCACIB, which counts as a full point! 🏆✨

We would like to sincerely thank both judges for their kind evaluations, beautiful words and confidence in Ciao!

Of course, we would also like to thank all our fellow exhibitors for this wonderful experience. It was such a pleasure to share such a lovely weekend together. Congratulations to everyone on your fantastic results! 🥂🐾

Last but certainly not least, we would like to give a huge thank you to Psi Obiektyw and Przemek Piwowar for beautifully capturing this special experience. 📸❤️ Thanks to you, we have wonderful memories to cherish for a long time to come!

What a weekend to look back on with so much pride! 🇵🇱❤️

What an amazing show weekend we’ve had! 🤍

Over the weekend of July 4th and 5th, Ciao took part in the Holland Cup and Dogshow Utrecht.

At just 20 months old, he is still maturing and developing. On top of that, he is currently out of coat, making this far from the ideal time to compete. That makes me even prouder of the way he showed himself in the ring.

Ciao exceeded all my expectations with these wonderful results:
🏆 Holland Cup (July 4): Excellent 2
🏆 Dogshow Utrecht (July 5): Excellent 1 + BOS

I’m incredibly proud of my sweet boy and the way he presented himself throughout the weekend. ❤️

A sincere thank you to the judges:
• Holland Cup – Erna Upmeijer (NED)
• Dogshow Utrecht – K. Young (UK)

I would also like to thank my fellow exhibitors Miranda Langeler, Roxanne Luyten Derogee and Stana Hruskova for the great atmosphere, sportsmanship, and a wonderful weekend together in and around the ring.

After a wonderful series of 11 shows spread over seven weekends, we brought this special period to a close today. Unfortunately, our streak of 10 Excellent qualifications did not end with another Excellent result, but with a Very Good evaluation.

At just 20 months old, Ciao is still very much developing and is currently out of coat, which led to this assessment. Nevertheless, the judge sees a great deal of potential in him and has every confidence in what the future may bring.

Our sincere thanks go to judge Hans van de Berg for evaluating Ciao and for providing a judging report that gives us great confidence for the years ahead.

An extra special moment today was the show debut of Ciao’s sister. For the very first time, she stepped into the ring, and we could not be prouder of how she performed. She earned a well-deserved Excellent qualification and delivered a wonderful performance. A very promising start that we look back on with big smiles and great pride!

We would also like to thank Meike Steenbergen and Miranda Langeler. It was a pleasure sharing the ring with you. Congratulations on the wonderful results you both achieved!
