What a wonderful (and weird) experience it was to attend my very first convention as an exhibitor, together with our whole studio East Side Tattoo 🤩!

Many thanks to my studio’s management for making this happen ♥️ as well as the team of Artfusion Expo and of course to everyone who came to get a tattoo 🥰🫶🏻!

Thanks to Michael for the video 💛

If you’d like to breathe new life into an old tattoo, there are many possibilities. While a coverup (covering one motief with a completely different image) oftentimes requires the new tattoo to be much larger than the old tattoo, that was not necessary in this case.

By sharpening the edges that have softened over time and adding white in selected areas, we were able to bring back contrast and definition.
The additional flowers and filigree were optional, but make a beautiful addition to the original tattoo.

Do you like the end result?

Loved working on the delicate details of this piece 🤗💖
Pictures and video were taken in different lighting, which causes the color differences between shots.
