Repost The Frozen Fountain:
The Splitted collection from Teun Zwets at PAN Amsterdam.

With the Splitted collection, Zwets explores the raw honesty of wood. Each piece begins by splitting Douglas Fir with an axe, revealing the grain and texture hidden within. Through this process, rough fragments evolve into sculptural furniture: chairs, tables, and cabinets that celebrate both material and gesture.

Each work is handmade, ensuring subtle variations that make every piece unique. The collection can be made to order in a range of colours, combining craft, individuality, and a deep respect for material.

Teun Zwets is known for his intuitive and experimental approach, transforming ordinary materials into expressive, functional works. Guided by curiosity and a love for making, he finds beauty in imperfection and value in what others overlook.

We're looking back on a great first participation , here are some shots of our booth including new works. Teaming up with led to this Splitted Suite. A fully furnished hotel room including the launch of the Splitted Softs collection which we made with Maison Deux.
