B’GAME is an incubator where young creative companies get the space to grow their ideas into real businesses. Behind each door, something unique is happening: from developers of serious games and entertainment games to service providers supporting the game industry.

During the Open Evening, you’ll not only get the chance to peek inside the studios and meet the makers, but also to play the games yourself and experience their work firsthand. Everyone is welcome; whether you’re a game enthusiast, curious about entrepreneurship, or just want to discover what’s happening behind our doors.

🎮 CONFIRMED FOR DUTCH GAME WEEK 2026: TECHNOUVEAU (RASMUS POULSEN) 🎮

Rasmus Poulsen is an art director, concept designer and the founder of design bureau Technouveau. Technouveau specializes in the visualization of speculative fiction, through visual development, concept design, world building and art direction.

Rasmus started his career in Denmark where he focused on advertising and animation. After his studies, he got a job at IO Interactive where he worked on HITMAN, Kane & Lynch, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days and 007: First Light.

Rasmus will talk about the considerations that were made regarding the visual and aesthetic choices for 007: First Light. How were they developed, refined and executed upon and how does one create strong artistic pillars in general?

🎮 DUTCH GAME WEEK 2026: NEWMAN ESPORTS TOURNAMENT🎮

On 14 and 15 November, the main hall of Newmancollege in Breda turns into an esports arena. Sixteen teams from schools across Breda compete in Valorant across three stages, with a main stage, live commentary and a full broadcast. Alongside it runs an FC27 tournament.

This is school esports at full scale: students who have trained for weeks, a packed hall, and finals played out in front of an audience. Everyone is welcome to come and watch. Doors open at 10:00 on both days, with the finals in the evening.

🎮 CONFIRMED FOR DUTCH GAME WEEK 2026: THE LINE (JAMES DUVEEN & JUANPE ARROYO) 🎮

James Duveen began his career as a 2D animator, spending a decade working across a range of projects including Sylvain Chomet’s acclaimed feature The Illusionist and Red Carpet Rampage, THE LINE‘s very first game

In 2017 he made the move into business development, and today serves as Founding Partner and Managing Director at THE LINE Entertainment, where he oversees development across feature film, series and games; including the studio’s highly anticipated upcoming title Deaths of Peck, with a playable prototype already available on Steam.

James will be joined on stage by Deaths of Peck creator and animator Juanpe Arroyo for a joint presentation on one of the most exciting creative crossroads in the industry today.

🎮 CONFIRMED FOR DUTCH GAME WEEK 2026: PLAYABLES 🎮

Playables is a production company and video game label co-founded by Mario von Rickenbach and Michael Frei. The duo started their collaboration in 2013 with the experimental video game Plug & Play. Under the Playables label, they have developed award-winning titles such as KIDS, Time Flies and Pocket Boss.

Mario von Rickenbach is a game designer and developer.He is particularly interested in interactive animation as a way to bring digital things to life with code and physics. Michael Frei is an animation filmmaker and game designer. He is known for his projects at the intersection of animated film and video game.

Mario and Michael talk about the creative process making their peculiar projects. A collection of unsolicited advice for creatives developing their own voice.

🎮 CONFIRMED FOR DUTCH GAME WEEK 2026: JOSEPH CROSS 🎮

Most recently he joined Riot Games, following a long tenure at Bungie where he contributed to the development of Destiny and Destiny 2 before serving as Franchise Art Director on Marathon, helping define the visual identity and world of the re-imagined IP from its earliest stages.

Beyond games, Joseph has brought his concept design expertise to some of cinema’s most visually ambitious productions, including Dune, Ghost in the Shell and Kong: Skull Island.

Joseph’s DGW talk explores the intersection of personal identity, creative influence and opportunity in art direction, across both video games and commercial work. A rare inside look at what it takes to build and protect a visual world at the highest level of the industry.
