👾TOMORROW: APPLIED GAMING WORKSHOPS AT AVANS 👾

Tijdens Dutch Game Week opent Avans Hogeschool de deuren voor een dag over de kracht van Serious Gaming. Je ontdekt hoe games helpen bij gedragsverandering en maatschappelijke impact. Kies een blok of ervaar de hele dag: van inspirerende presentatie tot interactieve workshops.

Een aantal onderdelen uit het ochtend programma:  
🖥️ Keynote presentatie Waarom we kiezen wat we kiezen — en hoe dat duurzamer kan Prof. dr. Marleen Onwezen – Wageningen University & Research

🖥️ Presentatie Serious games & duurzaam gedrag: het verkleinen van het g*t tussen zeggen en doen Dr. Annebeth Erdbrink – Gamewetenschapper

🖥️ Presentatie The Elephant in the MRI Room: Transforming Hospital Experiences Through Gamification and Storytelling Özgür Taşar – Senior Experience Lead Ambient Experience, Philips MRI

🖥️ Presentatie CIIIC: Ruimte voor gamechangers – IX als motor voor innovatie Heleen Rouw – Programma directeur, CIIIC

🎲 In de middan worden er vier workshops aangeboden, die elk vier keer plaatsvinden. Deelnemers zijn verdeeld in vier groepen en rouleren na elke ronde, zodat iedereen alle workshops kan volgen.

De dag eindigt met een borrel!

👾DUTCH GAME WEEK DAY 5! B’GAME OPEN EVENING & VIDEODROME (1983) AT CHASSÉ CINEMA👾

Did you know that new games and creative tech are being made right in the heart of the city? B’GAME is an incubator where young creative companies get the space to grow their ideas into real businesses. Behind each door, something unique is happening: from developers of serious games and entertainment games to service providers supporting the game industry.

During the Open Evening, you’ll not only get the chance to peek inside the studios and meet the makers, but also to play the games yourself and experience their work firsthand. Everyone is welcome – whether you’re a game enthusiast, curious about entrepreneurship, or just want to discover what’s happening behind the doors of B’GAME.

🎞️ DUTCH GAME WEEK 2025: WORLD PREMIERE OF FANBOY AT CHASSÉ CINEMA 🎞️

Discover a different side of gaming and fandom at the world premiere of Fanboy on 3 December 2025 at the Chassé Theater, Kleine Zaal in Breda. This exclusive screening invites audiences to reflect on the deeper, sometimes darker dynamics within online culture and to open up conversations that deserve more space in the public eye.

Join us for this powerful premiere and stay for the Q&A, where you can ask anything, share your thoughts and explore the themes together with the crew.

Sem (15) is a fan of YouTuber Wesley. When Sem accidentally films his idol’s angry outburst, he uses the footage to blackmail himself into Wesley’s life. His hope for a forced friendship with Wesley slowly but surely turns into something more sinister.

Playful Explorers invites you to dive into the world of play, where creativity meets technology. This hands-on program lets you play, create, and discover. Join a workshop, meet makers and explore games in development by Breda’s talented students, alumni, and studios. In collaboration with Nieuwe Veste, TURF, BUas, B’GAME and Breda Game City.
