The first alter ego has landed For the very first Alter Ego artist edition, German street artist Flying Förtress Flying Förtress / 5410 SQD puts his own spin on the original bijKlaas mascot. Known for his playful, slightly rebellious Teddy Troops, he breathes new life into familiar figures. The result? Recognizable, but tougher, stranger, and with attitude.

That’s exactly what Alter Ego is all about: one identity, redrawn by someone else.

Limited to 50 shirts, each individually numbered. Every shirt comes with stickers featuring both egos. No reprints. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

On Saturday, September 5, we open the exhibition 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗦 by TimRobot from Berlin.

TimRobot is an artist & designer based in Berlin. His art is a 90s kid’s dream: bold characters, skate culture, and street art influences — all wrapped in thick outlines, colorful backgrounds, and a healthy dose of subversion. Since 2005, he’s been transforming that world into paintings, toys, comics, and collaborations, spreading joy (and stickers) along the way.

We open at 18:00 at bijKlaas, Klarendalseweg 109 in Arnhem.

Alter Ego is een nieuwe T-shirtserie van bijKlaas, waarin artiesten onze mascotte telkens opnieuw mogen interpreteren.
Geen standaard collab dus, maar een reeks ontwerpen met ieder een eigen stijl, verhaal en karakter.
De eerste Artist Edition komt eraan.
Wie de mascotte als eerste een alter ego geeft? Dat houden we nog heel even geheim.

On May 9, 2026, it’s happening: Komart (Poland) is opening his very first solo exhibition in the Netherlands. This is something you really don’t want to miss!

Komart was born in 1988 in Starachowice, Poland. After his youth, he graduated from the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where he built his artistic foundation. His love for graffiti started when he was just ten years old. Older friends from the neighborhood, Popeye and Seito, were painting letters on walls, and that image stuck with him. In 2006, he painted his first wall of his own — the starting point of a non-stop creative life. Drawing is something he’s been doing for as long as he can remember. And that hasn’t changed to this day.

His visual style is deeply rooted in the world of comics and illustration. The covers Simon Bisley created for Lobo Batman made a huge impression on him as a kid. He was also hugely drawn to the work of Todd McFarlane and Greg Capullo on Spawn. In his work, he brings together the energy and storytelling power of comics with the sensitivity and technique of fine art. The result feels both raw and refined at the same time.

Geen setlist. Geen script. Gewoon twee muzikanten die elkaar vinden in het moment ✨

Vrijdag 30 januari transformeert bijKlaas in een muzikaal laboratorium waar niks van tevoren vast staat. Willowherz – de samenwerking tussen 45kHz en Wilsiac – gooit alle zekerheid overboord en creëert live wat jij die avond hoort.

Brent (45kHz) laat zijn analoge synthesizers praten, loopt vocals door zijn loopstation en bouwt warme beats op die de zaal doen bewegen. Ondertussen weeft Wilsiac daar zijn wind-synth magie doorheen: jazzy licks, funky melodieën, soms minimaal, dan weer overdadig rijk.

Het resultaat? Een organische reis van soulful house naar melodieuze techno-funk. Elke seconde uniek. Nooit meer exact hetzelfde.
