Today marks the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. A week after the horrible attacks, The New Yorker published a poem by the Polish award-winning poet Adam Zagajewski on the final page of its special 9/11 issue. "Try to Praise the Mutilated World" was a poem for our wounded world – through its quiet ray of hope it became a source of comfort to many in New York.

Renowned German filmmaker Wim Wenders, known from his famous arthouse films such as 'Paris, Texas' (1984) and 'Perfect Days' (2023), will deliver the Nexus Lecture 2026 on 'The Future of Kindness', on October 25. And you can be there, either in person or online!

The Nexus Lecture will take place in Rotterdam, but (international) members of the Nexus Institute will be able to follow the program through a livestream on our website. Want to join us in Rotterdam? Tickets are now on sale!
