Is your Instagram really showing who you truly are?

If I speak for myself, mine isn’t.

One of my friends keeps telling me, “Maria, you should share your real, authentic stories. You have so many stories — why aren’t you sharing them?”

And I’m always like… oh my God.

Because there is definitely one part of my life I’ve felt ashamed to talk about: my love life.

Somehow, it feels like the world expects you to find one person, stay together for a long time, build a successful life together, have children, and create a family.

But that hasn’t really been my story.

And sometimes I still notice that old programming in my head telling me that my life should look like that.

Now that there is no one in my love life, I finally feel like I can talk about it more openly.

Because the truth is, I’m someone who tends to fall in love quite quickly… but I can also fall out of love quite quickly.

Love has always been a big theme in my life.

And the book I’m going to launch is also deeply connected to my love life, but even more than that, it’s about the bigger search: What is my life really about?

So this is my first video about sharing more of the real me.

Part #5 Ayahuasca can work in many different ways, and every journey is different. These are five possibilities I’ve experienced myself or witnessed in ceremonies:

1. Physical
Vomiting, vibrations, feeling hot or cold, or even feeling extremely big or small. Ayahuasca can create sensations you normally never experience.

2. The inner voice
For me, there is often a voice or another form of consciousness I can interact with. I can ask questions, make requests, and sometimes experience a whole conversation.

3. Visuals
Colors, patterns, images, memories, or entire worlds can appear. Sometimes they make sense, sometimes they don’t — and sometimes you understand the experience more by feeling than by thinking.

4. Symbolic operations
You may experience something symbolic, like receiving a new heart to feel more love, or new eyes to see the world with less fear and more love.

5. Trauma healing
Sometimes you revisit the past. Other times, healing can feel more subtle — almost as if an old inner program is being rewritten without consciously reliving everything.

And these are only five examples. So much more can happen.

Many people are afraid of losing control, but in my experience, some of the magic can be found exactly in the moment you allow yourself to surrender.
