Green Place Coffeeshop is located on Kloveniersburgwal, just to the south of the Nieuwmarkt (New Market). This is an extremely busy part of Amsterdam. The street is lined with many businesses of all types including small cafes, restaurants, and shops. It also sits directly on the Kloveniersburgwal canal, giving Green Place some pricey real estate. The area is beautiful and historic, and brings in a lot of visitors. Further, it also serves as a central hub for many of the attractions/other areas that Amsterdam has to offer.
With regard to their cannabis, Green Place is presently considered a connoisseur establishment. They have entered numerous competitions in the past, and have some wins to their credit. You can find a couple of their medals displayed on the walls. Likewise, the cannabis menu here is fairly robust. You are likely to find some highly contemporary w**d (flower) strains in this shop, as well as some more potency concentrate (hashish) varieties. Their edibles are excellent as well. They also sell pre-rolled joints, if you prefer. Lastly, no shop will keep you comfortable for long without some decent coffee, tea, juices, drinks, and snacks. On that front, Green Place also seems to deliver.
