A performance for Fort Klanke Geöffnet - Artscience Interfaculty The Hague, The Netherlands. Located in the unused garage of sinking Amare conservatory. 🌓

Performance art where Giulia Favero and I direct each other’s breath. If Giulia holds my breath by blocking my nose, I will direct her breath with my hand. I decide for her when to breathe in and out on an irregular rhythm and tempo. If i can’t hold my breath anymore, I will block Giulia’s nose, and she will direct my breath. We continue until we start shaking.

Our heartbeat and breath are miced. So the audience has an intimate bodily sound experience, and perceives our bodily reaction on our irregularity of breath.

April 9th .mld and .rachel will perform as RISE in ,
We perform drone noise and sound art with an occasional addition of poetic lyrics as they feed off each other in their improvisational compositions. Using guitar, synth and pedals, cassette players with field recordings and religious hymns, a mysterious voice, contact mics and various sound objects, RISE fills the room with heavy pressing air and a sense of wonder.
Maj will also perform two songs of her solo album called ‘My Shadow Was A Nun’.

This week I tried to make a simulation of a window. I tried out different techniques over 1,5 days and this was the result. I will use this concept of one of the aspects for my scenographic doll house installation that im working on this year 👯‍♀️

Im creating a new project about anthropomorphism, where human emotion, character, interaction and fantasy is projected onto dolls and media. Where i will display self made doll commercials, a realistic baby sculpted out of clay and casted into silicone, family pictures with dolls, diary notes and performance. All placed in the scenographic setting of someone’s apartment where the audience can experience everything from close and wander around someone’s house who lives with only dolls, with hints of humor, eeriness, loneliness and uncomfortableness.
If anyone knows a cool location to display this please let me know!!
