Taking some time out…

Some moments inspired from an iconic photography from the 1930s in New York.
Happy that I’ve seen that little moment in the break given after the preparation of the second high altitude rescue action the firefighters of Leipzig .leipzig were executing on the event of . They were actually performing a rescue mission from the 120m top of Leipzig tallest building on a slopy fix line. Strong amounts of rigging power needed to show that skills to the public. As well as me being with them right on the edge documenting it for the public screens.

TRIEGEL TRIFFT CRANACH - ein Dokumentarfilm über den Leipziger Maler Michael Triegel und seine Reise während der Neugestaltung des Altarbildes des Naumburger Doms. Eine Reise mit unerwarteten Wendungen. Spannend erzählt von Regisseur Paul Smaczny und geduldig beobachtet durch die Kamera von Wogenstein Pictures und Michael Boomers.
Die Premiere in gleich zwei ausgebuchten Säalen der Leipziger Passage Kinos war ein voller Erfolg. Ab 05.02.2026 kommt er offiziell und flächendeckend in deutschen Kinos. Stay tuned.
