This summer the Mauritshuis held a fun family exhibition titled 'Hello Vermeer'. Accompanying the exhibition was a short animation that explained visitors the peculiar journey (both physical and historic) of Vermeer's most famous painting; the girl with the pearl earing.

The in Den Haag recently launched a beautifull new website with multimedia tours + an updated mobile app. During the last months we have welcomed and recorded various very interesting and talented people in our studio and we feel privileged to have played a modest part in the realisation of this big project; recording and directing educational and thought provoking audio content for the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions.

In 2016 we worked on a special documentary that can be watched on starting mid September: 'Bezness as Usual'.
The film constantly shifts between hard documentary realism and a more dreamlike fiction style: it was a great sound design challenge for us.
As with all good narrative driven documentaries, Bezness As Usual benefitted a lot from a fiction-sound approach. We had to be careful not to lose its raw realism though... We hope we eventually achieved a good balance between these extremes and were helped bij a very atmospheric score composed by and the solid storytelling skills of and .

We were delighted to get aquainted with , her work and to record & direct 9 very talented voice actors who did a more than excellent job performing these wonderfull and peculiar Russian audiostories in Dutch.

More recently we designed atmospheric soundscapes for the and the . There you can listen to a 3D-soundscape in which you find yourself lying in a Napoleonic-era hospital bed, floating on the edge between life and death 😱

The General Maczek Memorial opened in June this year. We designed 12 atmospheric soundscapes and recorded 12 personal stories in 3 languages from eye witnesses and soldiers about the 1st Polish Armoured Division who, under command of General Stanislaw Maczek, liberated parts of the Netherlands during 1944 and 1945 from German occupation and oppression. 📷 Mike Bink
