Such an INSPIRING MASTERCLASS ✨

I had the opportunity to teach an intensive masterclass focused on bridging the gap between directors and actors—two roles that share the same goal, but don’t always speak the same language.

We explored how directors could communicate more effectively on set, using clear, actionable direction based on objectives, intensions and behavior.

Directors also worked on scenes themselves, experiencing what it truly feels like to perform

We also explored what makes acting choices interesting based on 4 criteria: be authentic, be dynamic, create connection and keep the audience engaged.

A rewarding experience diving into human behavior and the foundations of acting and, and sharing practical Chubbuck tools that support both actors and directors.

What a ride 🎬✨

Tonight I was at the premiere of Lover Boy: Vertrouw Niemand… and wow. So proud of Cyriel. Years ago he started in my classes with a dream. He chose to write his own film, and after 7 years of hard work, Loverboy 1 became reality—370,000 tickets sold.

And now, just 2 years later… Loverboy 2 ❤️

Watching this journey has been incredible. So grateful I got to be a small part of it.

Just wrapped an unforgettable 5 day workshop in Tallinn - with passionate young directors and actors from Estonia, Lithuania, and Bulgaria.
Together, we explored how to: Personalize and analyze characters, Communicate with each other in a more effective way and Direct actors with intention and truth.
The Chubbuck Technique became our common language — unlocking deeper performances, connection, and creative risk-taking.
I was so inspired by the courage, talent, and enthusiasm in the room. Proud of every breakthrough moment. This is what storytelling is all about!

What do you learn during our acting classes? A lot! These classes are for professional actors who want to keep training their acting muscle.
