12th Tulips Ball, 29-31 of May 2026 in The Hague Dear friends, honoured ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome to the official group page of the Tulips Ball.

It is an honour and a great pleasure to host the sixth edition of the Tulips Ball in 2022. Our goal is to host an annual ball in the Netherlands which is organised for – and is warmly received – by all generations. Our foremost aspiration is to revive old traditions with a splash of contemporary youthfulness. Just as in the best traditions of years gone by, we wish to encourage our youth to dance, socialize, exchange ideas and goodwill—and not only with their peers, but also with other generations. This we believe to be the best way to commemorate our ancient heritage while ensuring its relevance for today. Furthermore, as friendship knows no bounds, so our guest list for this splendid weekend is open to friends from Europe and further afar. Together we will be able to celebrate and to appreciate the genuinely open culture of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. And to add to this special weekend of good music, food and drinks… tulips will certainly not be missing! We are looking forward to meeting you at the Tulips Ball 2022. Yours sincerely,

The Organising Committee

Last weekend’s Summer Banquet at the National Liberal Club in London was a tremendous success! 🇬🇧✨

A huge congratulations to our British Board for their outstanding organisation: Arran Wedderburn, Melissa Terzi and Hugh Birchall. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Veronique Ehamo for introducing us to this beautiful club, successfully establishing our British chapter, and passing it on to such an exceptional board.

We were delighted to welcome over 100 guests to our very first major event in the UK, with attendees travelling from Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain and the United States. This is only the beginning, and we are already planning our next events.

We are currently looking for a hotel in London to host our monthly Waltz & W**e evenings. Our events generate significant bar revenue, making them an attractive opportunity for hotels, particularly on quieter evenings. Ideally, the venue would have an integrated sound system and no venue hire fee. If you know the right hotel or contact, we would love to hear from you.
