Welcome to the official group page of the Tulips Ball.

It is an honour and a great pleasure to host the sixth edition of the Tulips Ball in 2022. Our goal is to host an annual ball in the Netherlands which is organised for – and is warmly received – by all generations. Our foremost aspiration is to revive old traditions with a splash of contemporary youthfulness. Just as in the best traditions of years gone by, we wish to encourage our youth to dance,

socialize, exchange ideas and goodwill—and not only with their peers, but also with other generations. This we believe to be the best way to commemorate our ancient heritage while ensuring its relevance for today. Furthermore, as friendship knows no bounds, so our guest list for this splendid weekend is open to friends from Europe and further afar. Together we will be able to celebrate and to appreciate the genuinely open culture of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. And to add to this special weekend of good music, food and drinks… tulips will certainly not be missing! We are looking forward to meeting you at the Tulips Ball 2022. Yours sincerely,

At the Tulips Ball, the dinner is where the magic begins.🌷

More than 500 guests fly in from over 30 countries to gather in the majestic ballroom of the Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus. Each table becomes an international circle where old friends reunite and new friendships begin.

Every table is carefully curated based on age, languages and shared interests. Because we know many of our guests personally, we create lively tables where conversations flow naturally and connections happen easily.

Our younger members of the Black Tulip Society enjoy their own Black Tulip Society balcony overlooking the ballroom. From there they have a spectacular view of the Conforte Symphonic Orchestra, more than 50 musicians who have travelled specially from Belgium. Members and guests of the Orange Tulip Society dine below, right beside the dance floor.

Throughout dinner the ballroom is filled with beautiful live opera performances. During the evening we will also host a charity auction featuring several special lots, supporting a meaningful cause.

The dinner is also the perfect start for those who may not yet know many people. By the time dessert is served, new friendships have often already been made.

After dinner the ball truly begins. A full evening of dancing awaits, from waltz to quadrille and from Friesenrock to Troika. The Tulips Ball is about connection, elegance and celebrating traditions together across generations.

For those who wish to experience the Tulips Ball to the fullest, we warmly invite you to join the entire weekend program. Including dance lessons during the pre party Eintanzen, a private visit to one of the most impressive private collections of Old Masters including works by Rembrandt, and as a spectacular finale a beautifully styled Polo Picnic.

The Dutch Chapters of the Black and Orange Tulip Societies are looking back on a truly wonderful and successful Annual Garden Party Picnic at Nyenrode Castle last Saturday! 🌷🧡

A heartfelt thank you to Rick van Dijk and Nyenrode Business University for their warm hospitality and support in making this gathering possible.

It was a joy to welcome so many of our members—both longtime friends and new faces—and to share such a special day together.

We’re already looking forward to seeing many of you again at our upcoming events: the Waltz & Wine Evening on October 12 and the Halloween Masquerade Ball on October 30. 🎭🍷
