We are so close to launching our third tour as the Amsterdam Burlesque R***e. Our brand-new show is called Goddess Gracious, and we need your support to make it happen! โค๏ธ
For the past decade, Flora Gattina has helped shape the Dutch burlesque scene by mentoring rising stars and producing spectacular shows through the Amsterdam School of Burlesque. In 2022, Flora, her sister Willemijn Laan, and Madame Magneta founded the Amsterdam Burlesque R***e, bringing together a talented ensemble of performers and crew with one shared passion: burlesque.
ย
After successful editions in Amsterdam, gracing the stages of legendary theaters such as De Kleine Komedie and Boom Chicagoโit was time to spread our feather fans even wider by creating the first authentic touring burlesque theatre production in the Netherlands.
ย
WHY CROWDFUNDING?! We have already secured a significant part of the funding for the Goddess Gracious Tour 2027, and we are incredibly grateful to Het Cultuurfonds, Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst, K.F. Hein Fonds, and Bylandt Stichting for believing in our vision. Their support allows us to take burlesque to a new level and establish it as a respected part of the Dutch theatre landscape. But there is still a funding gap to close, and thatโs where we need our community. With your support, we can bring Goddess Gracious to theatres across the Netherlands in 2027 and continue building a future for authentic burlesque on the Dutch stage.
