Not to impress people but to feel free in your body and spirit. As a beginner it sometimes can be frightening but the most important part is that we are here for the same reason: the love for dance culture and music.

2. Who and in wich style can I genuinely connect with and inspire this weekend?
Dance camps are not only about moves. They are about relationships, connection, and human energy. Try to self connect on a deeper level in each style, ask yourself wich style felt the most challenging and wich style felt the most comfortable and take bits of every class that genuinely fits your personal style.
3. What can I learn here that will elevate my artistry and vision?
Every dancer, teacher, Artist, and conversation can teach something valuable. Take the information and add it to your dance vocabulary. Respecting the source, roots and culture of each African Street Style.
4. How do I wanna feel after a dance class?
Feeling inspired free and connected is the goal of every dance class. Ask yourself what did I learn and take away of this class. your presence is part of your legacy. Energy is remembered longer than choreography.
5. Can I stay present enough to truly enjoy this moment?
Sometimes camps move so fast that we forget to actually live them. The classes at Afro drip dance camp will provide you to connect with other people that share the same vision of improving themselves within dance. Reviewing classes after a long day of training is essential. Record and take notes to yourself of what you can use to train or to use in your personal development as a dancer. This intention keeps you grounded and grateful.
