Nimi is a social club with a mission to forge one million new friendships through shared cultural experiences and inspiring conversations.

What began in London has now grown into a community of 2,000+ members, with over 150 sold-out events hosted across the city — from Gallery Strolls and Secret Salons to Dinner Clubs and artist-led experiences. Along the way, our community has walked more than 10 million steps together across London galleries, cafés, artist studios, and cultural spaces ✨

Now, we’re excited to bring Nimi to Amsterdam next. This Netherlands chapter is led by two of our founding members Henk & Thijs, two Dutch natives who fell in love with Nimi in London, having collectively attended 90+ events, and excited to bring the magic of Nimi to the Netherlands as they moved back to their home city.

Join us for our very first Nimi Gallery Stroll in Amsterdam and the official launch of Nimi Netherlands on the 20th of June at 2 pm – 5 pm.

You might have met her (and Orson 🐶) at one of our monthly Pup-Friendly Gallery Strolls. She joined Nimi in October 2025 as our Partnerships Lead and quickly became one of our stroll hosts. But if you asked her to introduce herself, she‘d probably just say:

🛋️ For Secret Salon #20 we are striking out of London to visit an artist working in a historic building conversion in Wi******er. The Gatehouse Studios sit within a cemetery complex amidst wildflower and water-meadow wildnernessmade famous by poet John Keats- especially beautiful at this time of year!
The artist, working in printmaking, has tailored the space and her production methods to minimise ecological impact with a sustainable approach; this includes making photographic development mediums from plants grown on site to then be used in the print process- truly a ‘farm to plate’ initiative!
