owers and fully grown table size catfish. Currently our productions output stand tall at an amazing 90,000 kg annually! Just enough to meet your demands. Plans have already been put in place to double production over the next twelve months. It is EL-MAGNIFICO FISH FARM's mission to become the leading supplier of fish to all the categories of customers in Northeastern Nigeria. This will be accomplished by providing hygienic, high quality fish, free from all sorts of industrial poisoning (as reported in oceanic fish) at fair prices while exceeding customer's expectations. Along side, we will Contribute our quota towards National development by giving employment to a good number of Nigerian youths. The featured products descriptions are as follows:
1. SMOKED AND PACKAGED CATFISH FISH
EL-MAGNIFICO FISH FARM features one the finest smoked catfish available anywhere in the local markets. This are presented in packaging of three sizes; small, medium and large cartons depending on what the customers’ need, he/she may choose any of the above sizes but the sizes mentioned are the packages that will be brought into the market. We employ improved traditional smoking methods while we also engage the services of specialized labor to prepare the smoked fish for sell., Our products can enhance any wholesale selection, retail display, or restaurant menu. Our smoked fish products contain no artificial coloring or flavoring, instead, we will use the flavor of brine, herbs, natural sweeteners, and spices in combination. To ensure a longer shelf life, we rely on the freshness of the fish that we smoke and not on chemical preservatives. We use a fresh brining solution for each batch of fish prior to smoking which results in a low salt content and exceptional fresh flavor. Smoked fish is one of the desired forms of processed fish for consumption in the north eastern part of Nigeria and the exceptionally high hygiene observed during the entire smoking and packaging process at EL-MAGNIFICO FISH FARM will leave our customers with no choice but to patronize our products. Concerning the packaging of our products as mentioned herein; we will have our products in small tightly sealed branded cartons. For each product size we will consider the following measures:
• Small size fish must weight 5kg
• Medium size, 10kg
• Big size, 20kg
The above represents the actual form we will be presenting our packaged products to the market.
2. FRESH TABLE SIZE CATFISH
The live table size catfish is the most demanded in the market. Priority is given to their production. The live table size fish range from 300-1500g in weight, it may be more or less. They are presented in branded crates of various sizes which include the 5kg, 10kg, 20kg, 50kg and the 100kg super pack. To maintain the freshness of the product, they are sold to customers live, directly from the pond, without any storage. Restaurants, Hotels, Motels, Joints and Domestic consumers are our major customers in this category. We also render after sells services to our customers to all customers with bulk purchases. We will offer to take the fresh fish to their business outlet or residence but this service will be restricted to customer within Jimeta, Yola and Gerie for the meantime. Those who are beyond that range may pay for the delivery of their goods.
3. CATFISH FINGERLINGS
Catfish Fingerling is a young catfish which is just two to three weeks old. They are hatched artificially in the farm under controlled and moderated environment which emulate the natural the process of hatching. Fingerlings are used in stocking of farm ponds for those intending to go into a similar venture and for hubby
EL-MAGNIFICO FISH FARM will hatch eggs to produce fingerlings both for sell and for stocking of our ponds. These fingerlings will be nursed for three weeks and sold at a rate per head to other farmers, students and laboratories.
