STARNEST IS ONE!
Today, 29th August 2026, StarNest Film Academy Ltd, operating StarNest Creative Club and Bayelsa Kids Can Act, turns ONE!
Looking back at this journey, all we can say is God, thank You.
What started as an idea has grown into a community where children are given the opportunity to discover themselves, build confidence and develop their talents. It has not been an easy one year, but it has been beautiful, and we are deeply grateful.
This anniversary would not have been possible without the many people God has used to support this vision.
A very special thank you to our Matron and mother figure, Mrs. Favour E. Dogubo, Dogubo Favour Head of School, Jade British International School. Ma, God used you to convince me to start this journey for the children of Bayelsa. Thank you for believing and for giving us that opportunity.
To the Management of Jade British International School, thank you for the support and kindness you showed us while we operated from your facility. We will always appreciate you.
To our pioneer team, Mummy Layefa, Oyinlayefa Ivry Mr. Adim Okolie Adim Okolie and Janet Dickson Dickson Janet , thank you for believing in the vision from the very beginning and standing with us as we started reaching out for the stars.

And to all our StarNest students, both our first and second sets, this is your anniversary too. Thank you for showing up, learning, growing and making this vision come alive.

One year down, and we are only getting started.
There are still so many children in Bayelsa waiting to discover what they carry. There are still so many dreams waiting for someone to believe in them.
We remain committed to creating that platform, nurturing those talents and helping more children find their place among the stars.
