Biseni people are asking for what they say should be basic: good roads, electricity, water, jobs, and a fair share of the benefits from the resources taken from their land.

After promises were made and more than a month passed without meaningful action, the mothers and youths blocked the road.

This is not just a protest. It is a cry for help. Someone needs to listen.

After waiting for the promises made to their community to be fulfilled, the women of Biseni have returned to the road. No water. Bad roads. Poor development. Little to no employment. Yet oil continues to leave their land.

Their question is simple: when will the benefits finally reach the people?
