Sometimes we move on
While still stuck to the past,
Bearing the grudges
Of our forgotten mistakes,
With a lust for change.

On the past we can't forever abide
An the future we can't keep aside
For as yesterday and today fades,
Tomorrow we await.

For at the tick of each second,

It was as it always has to be,
But never as it would be ,
It had to be,
