It is disheartening that up till this very moment Justice for Oghenemene is still being negotiated. IGP Tunji Disu you must do the needful before the country starts burning again. The youths are not happy, the intimidation from men on uniform is now becoming a norm in our society, just yesterday another youth was shot on the leg still in Delta state by uniform men.

What is happening, is it a crime to be a Nigerian, attesting this crime to spirituality by the Delta State PPRO is something even more traumatizing, because this event as it seems was fully orchestrated, someone went missing since Sunday and the police didn't say anything till when the video of when the boy was allegedly shot came up and then damage control was the next thing that came up. The lives of Nigerians are no longer valued. Where did we go wrong.

*EXTRAJUDICIAL KILLING BY POLICE OFFICER IN DELTA STATE*

It was a twist of event on Wednesday as members of the public were aggrieved, traumatized and disheartened by a video which surfaced online showing the Extrajudicial killing executed by members of the Nigeria Police Force Delta State Command attached to the Uvwie Area Command headed by Aliyu Shaba.

What really happened?
It was alleged that a boy by name Ogidi Oghenemene who happens to be an upcoming musician was sent to pick up a parcel for a friend at Warri motor pack around Effurun roundabout. On getting there he was tasked an amount of which he tried negotiating, and there after the personnel in charge of collecting and receiving waybill became suspicious as the package appeared small but heavy. Upon having that suspicion she made enquiries on what was in the package of which Oghenemene popularly know as Ogmillion appeared dumbfounded as he wasn't aware of what was in the package and after much dragging on whether they should open the package or not the package was eventually forced open by staff of the motor park and a Beretta pistol with 4 life ammunitions was found in it. The pack members immediately took hold of Ogmillion and tied him up then placed a call to the Area Commander Aliyu Shaba who in turn sent Police officers around the area to bring the boy to the station. Upon getting there ASP Usman Nuhu alias Ogbegbe shot at the boy twice before taking him to the station. Getting to the station it was alleged that the victim Ogmillion who was shot at around the Effurun roundabout was still alive but had sustained injuries to the arm was once again shot at by Ogbegbe multiple times and the victim was confirmed dead.

Alleged Reports had it that upon hearing the gunshots the Area Commander Aliyu Shaba came down from his office to request what was happening that led to multiple fire of life rounds and on getting there met what had happened and immediately ordered that ASP Usman Nuhu be disarmed and detained. He then forwarded the case and the suspects to the Delta State Police Command Asaba for further investigation and prosecution.

The Inspector General of Police Tunji Dish while speaking to the media recommended immediate dismissal, trial and effective prosecution of the suspects.
