I had the great honour of being warmly hosted to a beautiful dinner by Hon. Madam Haja Miatta Amara, Member of Parliament for the Western Region, Republic of Sierra Leone.

It was more than just a meal, it was a moment of connection, wisdom, and encouragement. Hon. Amara not only welcomed me with open arms, but also shared profound words of advice that will guide me on this bold journey from Nigeria to the USA on a bicycle, raising awareness and giving hope to orphans, the vulnerable, and IDPs across Africa.
Moments like this remind me that this journey is not mine alone, it belongs to every kind soul, every supporter, every leader who believes in the power of resilience and purpose.

My deepest gratitude to Hon. Haja Miatta Amara for her hospitality, wisdom, and belief in this mission.

Yesterday, I had the rare privilege of meeting the Deputy Honourable Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture of Sierra Leone, Hon. Kadijatu Grace

I shared my story, this bold, “crazy” dream of riding from Nigeria to the USA on a bicycle to raise awareness for orphans, IDPs, and the vulnerable across Africa. And in that room, I felt truly seen, heard, and supported.

She looked at me and said: “Sierra Leone is with you.” That single sentence will remain with me forever.

She also gifted me some of her published books and promised to support this mission through our GoFundMe campaign. That kindness fuels my spirit to keep pedaling forward.

A heartfelt appreciation to my senior brothers from Nigeria who went with me, it was a truly beautiful and unforgettable moment,

This ride is not about me alone, it’s for the orphans, the vulnerable, and the displaced across Africa and beyond.
