To the Good People of Akwa Ibom State

My people of Akwa Ibom state,

I write to you today with a heart full of gratitude and hope for our state.

What happened today within our party, the APC, is worth acknowledging. Several leaders chose to step down in support of Pastor Umo Eno’s decision to continue leading Akwa Ibom. That decision was not a sign of weakness, but a sign of maturity, gratitude, and love for our state.

By stepping aside, they chose unity over division. They chose peace over conflict. They chose to protect our party from a public fight that our opponents were waiting to use against us. In doing so, they have placed the interest of Akwa Ibom above personal ambition.

To every leader who made that sacrifice, I say thank you. You have shown what true leadership looks like — putting the people first, and ensuring that our state continues on the path of stability and progress. You may not have gone into the primary, but you have won the respect and admiration of the people.

This is how we move Akwa Ibom forward: when leaders stand together, when we avoid unnecessary battles, and when we focus on the development of our communities.

Let us all support this spirit of unity. Let us keep working together so that Akwa Ibom remains peaceful, strong, and united.

Uyo State Constituency was once the voice that others listened to.
Uyo was the constituency where all voices gathered to seek wisdom.
Uyo was the constituency that others looked up to — in empowerment, in education, in creativity, and in unity.
Uyo was the constituency that many believed in, empathized with, and were proud to be part of.

But for over 12, even 16 years, Uyo State Constituency has lacked that voice. It has lacked good representation.

That is why I have decided to say: *Let Uyo Rise Again.*

Let there be peace.
Let there be a voice in Uyo State Constituency.
Let us return to those days of speaking the truth, standing for other constituencies, and using our unity and diversity to maintain peace and deliver good governance to our people.

Let the people of Uyo State Constituency regain their authenticity and power — the momentum of the past, when _when an Uyo man speaks, they listen._ When walls would rise and bow before the Uyo man.

This is the time. Uyo needs a leader who can bring empowerment, success, creativity, unity, favor, and above all — employment for the good people and the youth of Uyo State Constituency.

At this point, let me make it clear:
_Uyo does not need a sleeping successor.
Uyo does not need a sleeping representative.
Uyo needs a good representative._

I am deeply honored and grateful for the trust and confidence reposed in me by our great party as the newly elected ASSISTANT Director of Welfare in the just concluded party congress.

I sincerely appreciate every member who supported and believed in me throughout this process. Your encouragement, votes, and goodwill mean so much to me.

I accept this responsibility with humility and a strong commitment to serve diligently, promote the welfare of our members, and work together with the leadership and all stakeholders to strengthen our party.
