The advent of a civil democratic administration of Nigeria, brought with it, high profile gatherings and ceremonies hithertho to our clime. While there were significant differences in the quality of our private/ public functions and the calibre of Dignitaries in attendance, the anticipated corresponding realignment in the entertainment components were clearly lacking. Musically, our landscape was
characterized by familiar tunes in pop, reggae, religious, highlife and cultural renditions, etc. but the "sophistication" of the evolving circumstances and class of Functionaries, seemed to be miles away from these local rhythms. Therefore, the new music order, requires such that blends with every culture, personality, age, time, event and place. REAL BRASS [100-man Brass Orchestra] was specifically conceived, designed and powered to fill the gap left by everyday familiar genre of music and musical performance, usually staged at high profile private and public ceremonies. It was borne out of the critical need to up the ante in performances in such gatherings; with a view to meeting world-class standards, even as we adhere fastidiously to international best practices. Over time, it has grown to become Africa's Largest-Single most glamorous ensemble, driven by the passion to re-define and re-position contemporary entertainment, taking into cognizance, the quality of event and status of Guests. So far, we have featured in big-time events and ceremonies organized by the Federal Government, Foreign Embassies, various State Governments, Corporate Organizations, International Organizations, Sports Institutions and High Profile Individuals. Our instrumentalists, most of them with a minimum qualification of First Degree or it's equivalent, play more challenging and extensive parts in front of audiences who appreciate the unique and dynamic style that our brand is noted for. That we still wax stronger, even with a brighter future is a testament to our continued vibrancy and vitality as skilled and disciplined ensemble. It's more than just a band but a BRAND
