Mangroves provide for our survival in coastal communities; food, jobs, income, medicine, building materials, fuel, protection from coastal erosion, and climate change mitigation. Sadly, we are losing this natural heritage through overexploitation, invasive species and oil pollution. But we can change this ugly narrative by redefining our relationship with the Mangrove Environment from that of exploitation to that of restoration.
Our project outing on Saturday June 12 is planned to demonstrate how we can through . This is our event and you're invited to join us!
