We express our profound gratitude to God and heartfelt joy over the safe release of the teachers, students, and pupils who were abducted during the bandit attack on Yawota Ahoro-Esinele in Oriire Local Government Area of Ogbomoso.
Since the unfortunate incident, Omidan Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́ Beauty Pageant has consistently used its platform to advocate for their freedom through the campaign, calling on relevant authorities and all well-meaning Nigerians to support efforts aimed at securing their safe return.
Today, we celebrate the joyful news of their release and commend everyone whose unwavering commitment and collaborative efforts contributed to this positive outcome. We also salute the resilience of the victims' families, friends, and the entire Ogbomoso community, who remained steadfast in hope and prayer throughout this difficult period.
As we rejoice, we are reminded that security is a shared responsibility. We therefore call for strengthened measures to protect our schools, communities, and every resident, so that such unfortunate incidents do not recur.
