As much as we commend the efforts of the government and security agencies concerning our beloved people being held hostage in the Yawota/Esiele bandits’ operations, we will not keep quiet until our people are safely returned home.

Today, we launch the Campaign to intensify awareness and amplify the cry for the safe return of victims affected by the Yawota/Esiele attacks.

Imagine if you or your loved one were the victim — God forbid. The painful truth, however, is that this tragedy could happen to anyone.

We believe that every life matters, and we refuse to remain silent while families continue to live in pain, fear, and uncertainty.

Join us by sharing this message, praying with us, and using the hashtag until our voices are heard and our people return safely home.

Our hearts are heavy over the tragic Yowota/Esiele Bandit Attack.
We mourn with the families who lost loved ones, stand with those abducted or injured, and pray for peace, healing, and restoration in our communities. 🕯️

No community deserves to live in fear. The continuous threat to lives and properties calls for urgent, proactive, and decisive actions from the government and all security agencies. Our people deserve safety, protection, and justice.

We strongly urge the relevant authorities to strengthen security presence, improve intelligence gathering, and implement necessary measures to prevent future occurrences of such heartbreaking attacks. Most importantly, we call for swift intervention to secure the safe and immediate release of those abducted. Every moment matters, and their freedom must remain a top priority.

May God comfort every grieving family, grant eternal rest to the departed souls, and bring the abducted home safely.

May peace return to Yowota, Esiele, Oriire, Ogbomoso, and our nation at large.
