Ok
This is the reason why I don't believe that Ekpeye, Ikwerre, Ogba, come from Bini.
1) Why do we speak Igbo dialects?
CLAIM 1: They said It's because the Igbos came to trade in Ekpeye, so they corrupted our language.
ME: This is a very big lie, Igbos never changed the language of any people to Igbo language, Igbos are everywhere in the world, U.S, London, Germany, even Lagos doing business, trading, buying and selling. Yet, they have not made Lagos people or Germany alor all the other places where Igbos are, Igbos have not made those people to abandon their language and start speaking Igbo dialect.
Is Ekpeye people that daft? Stupid that they will allow traders, ordinary traders to change their language? NO.
CLAIM 2: They said Ekpeye men married a lot of Igbo women who then changed Ekpeye people dialect to Igbo.
AMSWER: It's a lie, there's no documentation or evidence anywhere that Igbo women changed Ekpeye people language to Igbo. It's not possible.
Where is the language that the Ekpeye people were speaking before the "supposed" Igbo women changed their language to an Igbo dialects? They cannot provide the language.
CLAIM 3: They claim Igbo language was used to teach them in schools and churches.
How do you teach someone something in a language they can't even understand? No way.
Okay, what about the one's that didn't go to school?
What about the traditional worshippers who don't attend church where they will be thought the supposed Igbo language?
We have been speaking English from time immemorial, have we forgotten our Ekpeye language and embraced English in our various communities? NO!!!
So you see? There's absolutely no proof that Ekpeye is Bini.
All are lies made up after the Civil war.
Ekpeye is big time Igbo.
