If you are mad about nigeria's defeat last night, you should actually be grateful they lost in honor because the circumstances at which that game was played, they were meant to be humiliated, playing against the host nation with over 60 thousand home fans all chanting against you, prices of tickets were allegedly tripled so that nigerian fans wouldn't be able to purchase them, the few that got the tickets were compelled to be separated from gatherings in their actual designated area. i just saw a clip of our goal keeper's hand towel (specifically used to dry the gloves π§€for football safety) being stolen away and i heard they did that mutiple times. this is africa!! the odds were all against us
as for chukwu eze, people tend to forget the psychological aspect of being a public figure, i see everyone now relying on the nonchalant attitude "chewing gum" to troll him. this is a human being, if he had scored that goal the headline would have been " such a confident player" he is human, he understands calm in chaos, you feel he doesn't feel anxious and scared at that moment too because he has been on bigger tournaments? even as an artiste , regardless of the level of "stage" i have performed at, if i have a show at my backyard with just 10 attenders, i would even feel more tensed becaue you don't know what to expect. he didn't kick the ball with power ? ππ
some of the most glorified and celebrated penalties as far as i know are the ones taken in calmness and converted , they often get adored. i ask again!! what if he scored that goal? would any of us still feel same way ? or what about Bruno's penalty that had so much power but was still saved even with one palm β? this is football anything can happen, all the greatest footballers on earth have missed decisive penalties too so it can be anyone. one thing i took out from yesterday was. THE EVENTUAL RESULT OF EVERY OCCASION or CIRCUMSTANCE DETERMINES HOW THE WORLD APPRECIATES YOUR INPUT, NO ONE REALLY CARES , JUST THE RESULT
πGood night
