Your friends changed the playlist when you walked in.
They already knew.
That’s not shade, that’s actually respect. They know your standards. The question is… do you still know them too?
Because somewhere between trying to fit in and not wanting to seem “too holy,” a lot of us have quietly lowered the bar. Not all at once. Just a little here. A little there. Until we’re laughing at things we used to cringe at and calling it “growth.”
That’s not growth. That’s drift.
Today’s challenge: Read Daniel 1:8 - “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself.” Daniel didn’t announce it. He didn’t debate it. He just made up his mind. Today, purpose something in your heart. One area. One decision. Bring it before God and ask Him to help you hold the line.
The world doesn’t need a watered-down version of you trying to belong. It needs the full, unashamed, set-apart version that makes people change the playlist.
