DJ METROSKI (born Ezeh Akeodi Ikechi) is widely credited as a key figure in developing and promoting Good music. Inspired by Hypersensitivity of music, he grew up to absorb the latest trend of music and mixing. METROSKI BABA (popularly called) was born in the early 1990’s and raised in Rivers State, Nigeria. As the only Child of his Parents, music became his passion and part of life. Raised where
music, including singing was the ethics in his Domain, his love for music increased. Since his early childhood, in Port Harcourt, CDs, Sero Players have been his favorite toys. His professional music career started after he finished his high school. He had already be experimenting with mixing of songs with Sound Recorders, while he was in High School. Moved by Passion, DJ Metroski without reasonable doubt has become an Iconic figure in Nigerian Music and DJ industry and beyond. With a career spanning almost two decades, he has captivated audiences over with his signature, cross-genre sound and songs, skillful DJ mixes and refix, including mashups and production. It’s no news why he’s been dubbed one of the leading DJ of his Domain. Starting in 2007, at the 17, METROSKI diligently rose through the ranks of his domain underground at a time when DJs and promoters were few. In just a few years, his skills and growing reputation had already landed him in numerous residencies in Rivers State, as well as a steady flow of stateside bookings. DJ METROSKI has also gained success in Radio and Television in rocking dance floor scoring a coveted sponsorship from relevant individuals and building a fan base on his social media pages, etc. Stimulated by this Success, DJ Metroski decided to spend more time on productions and DJ Refix, Extended versions, based on years of musical experience. His productions and remixes were included in the tracklist of major mixtape across the country, which include DJ Humility, DJ Smart Don, DJ Spinall, DJ Dee Money, DJ Neptune, DJ Baddo, to name a few. The Momentum continued with bookings from different location across the country and in 2013, DJ Metroski was privileged to DJ at the Rivers State Carnival, the International Nurses week which was also attended by the Governor of Rivers State and other Personalities. DJ Metroski has released noted and well accepted mixtape which include; Urban roll mixtape, Roll Out Xclusive mixtape, In the mix mixtape edition, DJ Metroski ft Reekado Banks mixtape, to name a few.
