Why should anyone disrespect you and treat you like a prisoner on a day that should be special to you?
No matter how poor a Yoruba lady and her partner are, and no matter the situation for an Igbo man and his wife-to-be, their wedding is always about them. It is never like human beings being treated like cows or prisoners on a day that is meant to be their day.
You, as a Hausa woman, how do you feel when your government brings 1,500 couples together in Kano for a mass wedding? That is over 3,000 people in one venue, with tags placed on your neck just as prisoners are identified. In Kebbi, another 300 couples have been scheduled for July 27, 2026.
When dignity is taken out of it, what remains is shame and embarrassment. That can only be an Almajiri kind of wedding. They breed you on the streets, with no education, no good life. What you get later in life is to be gathered together and married off, which simply means you have been rendered useless all your life.
If you think it is noble to receive such a wedding offer yearly from your northern governors, then ask yourself one simple question: How many of those politicians and your religious leaders give that kind of embarrassing and disgusting wedding to their own children? How many of the participants are Fulani?
Why is mass wedding a gift majorly for Hausas in the North? Is it so you can continue to produce more Almajiri children you cannot take care of, just as you could not afford your own wedding ceremony? Children who will later grow up to become terrorists and foot soldiers for the Fulani agenda in Nigeria.
They gave you Sharia law and took away your brain. They gave you a law that takes away your right to freedom and a good life. They ensure you remain poor, while they yearly bring out a little from the money they have looted to give you a wedding.
