One thing I strongly believe about my industry is that handmade brands should stop competing primarily on price.

There will always be someone willing to sell cheaper.

Our advantage is craftsmanship, originality, quality and the story behind what we create.

Something you might not know about me and my business…

Abenicrafts didn’t start with everything figured out.

But one thing kept me going, I genuinely love creating with my hands.

One of my biggest lessons has been this:

You don't have to have everything figured out before you start. Sometimes, clarity comes while you're building.

And honestly… we are just getting started.

Hi, I’m Sariat Oluwadamilola Odunuga Aya Ibrahim, I make bag but honestly, I do much more than just make bags.

I’m the founder of Abenicrafts, where I create handmade bags and accessories using beautiful fabrics like Ankara, aso-oke, adire, Kente, leather and more.

My customers are women who want to look stylish, carry something unique, and still have a bag that can actually keep up with their everyday life.

And you know what I love most? Taking a beautiful piece of fabric and turning it into something you’ll be proud to carry.

I also train people to make bags because I believe a skill can become more than a hobby, it can become income, confidence and independence.

So yes, I make bags, but really, I’m creating style, celebrating our culture, and helping people create possibilities for themselves.
