Today did not start pretty.

I went in for my PRP session at MC Hair Transplant (if you’ve been following, you know I had my hair transplant done just over a month ago) and that procedure was painfulll Biko . I walked out tender, a little tired, and just ready to go Back work .

Thankfully I still walked like a woman who knows where she’s going lol.

As I got to my car, a young man walked up to me and said, “I’m so sorry, this is so random, but you look so beautiful. The way you’re dressed, the way you walk, it’s stunning. Would it be okay if I took some pictures of you?”

I was like ah ah ,okay thank you. (While smiling like a baby )And the pictures you’re looking at right now are the ones he took. Some of my favourite photos of myself, from a day I would have described as rough an hour earlier.

So here’s my reminder to you today. Just compliment that person . Tell her the dress is lovely. Tell him the work he did was excellent. Tell your friend she’s glowing. You will never fully know what someone is carrying, and your kind words might be the softest thing that touches them all day.

Kindness costs nothing, but it is never cheap.

And to the stranger with the camera, thank you. You saw me, and you made sure I knew it. 🤍

She is not to be hidden.

This season, I’m learning to stop praying only for what I want and I started asking God for wisdom, direction, and alignment with His will in my prayers.

I’m posting this here because I need to hold myself accountable to it too for when the going gets rough
