AFRICAN ADAGE: "The dog of the chief of the village is not the chief of dogs"
The saying "The dog of the chief of the village is not the chief of dogs" means that just because someone is close to an important person, it doesn't make them important too.
Example: If your friend is the class president, it doesn't mean you get to make the rules just because you are their friend. Everyone has their own role and importance.
