AFTERGLOW
by Helen Lowrie Marshall
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done. 🕊️🕊️
Yesterday was a memorable one for me as I get the honor to present the commissioned Artwork I created for the Late Governor of Ondo State, Dr Rotimi Akérédolú a.k.a Àkétì to his wife and family members on his Post-humous birthday and official Book Launch organized by the family, close friends and business associates. We believe he is in a better place hence the importance of celebrating the life he lived and the Legacy he left behind both in Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
The joy and smile on the daughter's face tells me they see him smiling right back at them through the Artwork as mummy placed the Artwork right by her side in order to gaze at till the program was concluded.
This fufils me in ways i can't bring myself to explain and i promise to never stop! I'm available for premium commissions & bookings. We are only just a DM 📩 away at The King's Gallery. 👑🎭
We Love you, but God Loves you more. Continue to rest in God's bosom Sir. ☦️
