In every situation in life, adaptability cannot be overemphasised. If the original plan is not working, or good enough, it's important to change one's approach. No one should remain stuck in an approach that is not working or has outlived its usefulness. In such a situation, one must be willing to adjust one's strategy.

It's absolutely unwise to overestimate one's strength! Just as the pepper's strength is no match for the grinding stone, each one should be aware of their limitations! Again, it's good to know that perceived strength is relative! The peak of one's strength is the starting point of another persons. Humility is therefore desired in all persons and situations.

Moral
Selfishness is a prison of its own making! The one with selfish actions harms himself more than others! On the contrary, true generosity is letting others benefit, even if one can't! It's totally unwise to project one's limitations onto others' potential.
