INAUGURATION OF CRAWI LAGOS/WEST NIGERIA CHAPTER
The Civil Rights Anti-Corruption World Initiative (CRAWI) cordially invites members of the public, community leaders, civil society organizations, youth groups, religious institutions, security stakeholders, and all lovers of justice and national development to the official inauguration of the CRAWI Lagos/West Nigeria Chapter.
This historic event marks another significant step in our collective commitment to promoting integrity, accountability, transparency, peace, security, and the fight against corruption across Nigeria.
Theme: Building a Corruption-Free Society Through Civic Responsibility and Collective Action

If you are 30 and above, you do not need three meals a day. Nobody does.

Two meals.
One around midday.
One before evening closes.

Meat.
Fish.
Eggs.
Vegetables that grew from the ground, not from a factory.

No wheat.
No sugar.
No seed oil.
No malt drink you have convinced yourself is “malt, not soda.”

Drink water.
Add salt to your food.
Sleep.
Move your body.

Your grandfather did not eat cereal at 7am and a sandwich at 1pm and rice at 9pm. He ate when there was food, and he buried fewer of his age mates from sugar than you will.

Start today with two meals.

That is the whole instruction.

Wealth, Purpose, and the Establishment of God's Covenant

Someone said, "Vanity upon vanity, all is vanity." That was King Solomon's conclusion after experiencing and possessing the wealth, wisdom, pleasure, honor, and influence that many people only dream about.

How can someone who has never experienced these things quickly conclude that they are vanity? You wake up every day, go to work, strive to make ends meet, and pursue the very things you claim are meaningless simply because you have not yet attained them. Before you call something "vanity," understand what Solomon meant. He spoke from experience, not from lack.

One of the easiest ways to keep people powerless is to keep them poor. Poverty limits influence, weakens impact, and restricts the fulfillment of divine assignments.

God's desire is to establish His covenant in the earth. That is why the Bible says:

«"But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant..." (Deuteronomy 8:18)»

Notice the purpose behind the power to get wealth. God gives His people the ability to create wealth because He has a covenant to establish. Wealth is not an end in itself; it is a tool for advancing God's purposes on earth.

Study Jeremiah 18 and you will see God's intention to shape and prepare His people for His divine purpose.

Do not be deceived. I have said this before: the air conditioning blowing on you in church is not the wind of the Holy Spirit. The air conditioner was purchased with money. We did not pay for it with speaking in tongues; we paid for it with cash.

Faith is the currency of the supernatural. Souls are the currency of eternity. But in the natural world, money is the currency that accomplishes many practical things.

Faith should produce results that enable God's work to advance. The Church needs both spiritual power and material resources. It is not enough to have only human resources; there must also be financial and material capacity to fulfill God's assignment.

One thing Satan strongly opposes is believers prospering financially. He will do everything possible to demonize wealth because he understands the influence it brings. Yet money itself is not evil. Wealth simply reveals the character of the one who possesses it. In the hands of the righteous, it becomes an instrument for advancing God's kingdom.

With financial resources, media platforms can be owned, missions can be funded, churches can be built, schools and hospitals can be established, and the gospel can reach nations. Influence often follows resources.

This is why Satan continually attacks the subject of wealth. During the temptation of Jesus, he even offered Him the kingdoms of the world and their glory, revealing how much influence he associates with earthly wealth and power. But Jesus refused to compromise because His kingdom operates according to God's righteousness and purpose.

As believers, we should not seek wealth for pride or selfish ambition, but to glorify God and establish His covenant in the earth.

THE GREATEST PRAYER OF THE WISE

Galatians 6:8 | Romans 13:14

One of the greatest prayers a wise believer can pray is this:

"Lord, do not let me be consumed by the desires of the flesh."

The flesh never stops demanding more. It begins with small compromises but, if left unchecked, can gradually pull a person away from God's will. Many people who once walked closely with God became trapped because they continually gave in to the desires of the flesh. Sadly, some are still struggling to find their way back.

Today, make this your sincere prayer:

"Father, may I never swim in the flesh and its desires. Give me the grace to walk in the Spirit, to resist temptation, and to live a life that pleases You."

As Galatians 6:8 reminds us, whoever sows to the flesh will reap corruption, but whoever sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life. Romans 13:14 also instructs us to put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh to satisfy its desires.

May God strengthen you to overcome every fleshly desire, keep your heart pure, and help you finish your Christian race faithfully.
