In 1992, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso was serving as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Nigeria. During that period, he brought along a 29-year-old young man who had worked under him in the Water Resources Department during the 1980s, and appointed him as his Personal Assistant (P.A).
In 1999, after Kwankwaso had continued his political struggle since 1992, that same young man had returned to work in the Water Resources sector. Unexpectedly, Kwankwaso won the governorship election in Kano State, and once again he sought out the young man and reappointed him as his P.A, this time as the Personal Assistant to the Governor.

In 2003, after Kwankwaso lost his re-election bid, the Federal Government appointed him as Nigeria’s Minister of Defence. Kwankwaso still did not abandon the young man; instead, he took him along to Abuja and appointed him as his Special Assistant (S.A).
In 2007, after Kwankwaso left the Ministry of Defence, Olusegun Obasanjo appointed him as Special Envoy to Somalia and Darfur. Again, Kwankwaso continued to move with the young man as his close aide and trusted right-hand man.
In 2009, under the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Umaru Musa Yar'Adua appointed Kwankwaso as the representative of the North-West region. Kwankwaso once again continued working closely with the young man as his right-hand man. In that same year, Kwankwaso secured a federal appointment for him, and fortunately, the late Yar’Adua appointed him as the Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Ondo State.

In 2011, Kwankwaso returned and became Governor of Kano State for the second time. Once again, he brought back the young man and handed him the position of Commissioner in one of the major ministries.
In 2019, after Kwankwaso completed his tenure as governor in 2015, the young man had stepped back from politics until 2018, when Kwankwaso brought him forward again and declared that he would contest for governor under the People's Democratic Party (PDP). This decision caused Kwankwaso to lose some allies and supporters, as many believed he had chosen someone who was not experienced or capable enough. The election was conducted, victory was initially declared, then it was announced as inconclusive, and eventually Abdullahi Umar Ganduje retained his seat.

In 2023, Kwankwaso once again brought forward the same young man and insisted that he would be the candidate. Due to the lack of a solid political structure within the PDP to support him, Kwankwaso left the party and joined a relatively small and lesser-known party called the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), together with his supporters. He once again ensured that the young man secured the ticket. The election was held, victory was achieved, and the young man eventually became the Governor of Kano State.
History can be inspiring to hear. However, sadly, after this young man became governor, within just two years the story began to take a different and unpleasant turn from the end of 2025 into 2026.

2027: Faction of Obideint Movement Rebrands, Sacks Peter Obi

A faction claiming control of the Obidient Movement has announced the disbandment of its post-2023 leadership structure, rebranding and restructuring ahead of the 2027 elections. The group says it has also expelled former presidential candidate Peter Obi, alongside Yunusa Tanko and other affiliated figures.

At a press briefing in Abuja, the group said the movement has entered a new phase of restructuring and claimed its original vision had been diluted after the 2023 elections. It also stated it has not adopted any candidate for 2027 and will no longer work with the Labour Party.

Peter Obi, Kwankwaso officially join NDC ahead of 2027 election

Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, counterpart, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, have formally joined the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC.

The two former governors joined the NDC after Obi earlier on Sunday dumped the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

24th January 2022. A day I can never forget.

I went to eat at Buka Hut at gbagada, just to treat myself and have a good day.
Halfway through, my PERIOD came unexpectedly… and I had no pad, no backup, nothing.
I didn’t even know.

After eating, I decided to get ice Cream, because why not spoil myself a little more?

As I stood up, I noticed people staring… but I didn’t understand why. It wasn’t until I got to the ice cream stand that a guy walked up to me quietly and said: “Excuse me… your backside is stained. Please, take my jacket to cover up.”

In that moment, I wanted the ground to open and swallow me. But his kindness… it calmed me.

No noise. No embarrassment. Just respect.

He gave me his jacket, wrapped it around me, and even offered to order me an Uber home.
I insisted on paying, but honestly, I was just grateful someone chose kindness over ridicule.

I asked how I’d return his jacket. He smiled and said, “Don’t worry about it.” But I took his number anyway…🥰

Today, that same man is my DARLING HUSBAND.😍

And funny enough, Buka Hut is still our favourite spot till today. ❤️

In 2015,Lamidi Adeyemi Alaafin went to Abuja to seek for a chance of representing the Ooni's official position at the federal level after Ooni sijuwade demised,on getting there, Adeyemi lll met the president Buhari and explained his reason for coming, Buhari advised Adeyemi lll to go and meet his vice Osinbajo, bcuz he's a Yoruba man and he knows more than him in Yoruba histories, traditions and culture.

As Adeyemi got to the office of the vice president,he was well welcome and accommodated, Adeyemi still explained his reason for coming to Abuja and he means he doesn't want the vacant space of Ooni affected the National traditional council of obas, so,he can represent the Ooni before another Ooni is enthroned!

Osinbajo told Lamidi Adeyemi categorically that the federal council of traditional rulers had been suspended since the demised of the oba sijuwade and no one could represent or replace the space,the government is waiting until the new Ooni enthrones and no oba from Yoruba land to occupy or represent the position of the Ooni at the federal level,

it's already in White Gazette since 1937 documented by the then British governor general of the federation, Nigeria governor Bernard. And no one would change it. It's life and permanent! Alaafin returned to his palace and I know, since then, Oyo had been planning of fighting Ife even when Lamidi Adeyemi was alive, Ooni went to him, still, Adeyemi Lamidi was doing indirectly by narrating different fabricated histories here and there, even in the present of the Ooni Ojaja in order to cause conflict between the two of them.

Oba Adeyemi was taking different steps to make sure,he and Ogunwusi started another supremacy conflict afresh! Adeyemi made step to send his people from Oyo to Ife in modakeke to give them crown, while Ojaja was already prepared! Adeyemi still lobbied with the formal Owa Aromolaran to fight the Ooni on Osun chairmanship of Obas.....
