PRIDE AND BRAGGING KILLED MR P’S CAREER

Let’s be honest Mr, P pride and bragging did more damage to your career than any hater ever could.

1. Pride Made You Leave P-Square Twice
You weren’t fighting for money alone. You were fighting to be seen as the main one. I’m the dancer.I’m the performer. I’m the face. Pride said: If they don’t respect me, I’ll walk. Result: You walked straight out of Africa’s biggest group into solo struggle. P-Square was a moving train. You jumped out to prove you could drive your own car. But the car never picked speed.

2. Bragging Replaced Music.
After 2017, your interviews became your albums.
I made P-Square. I write my songs. I don’t need anybody. Fans didn’t come for TED Talks. We came for hits. While Rudeboy dropped Reason With Me, Audio Money, you dropped quotes. Bragging doesn’t enter Apple Music Top 100. Songs do.

3. You Fought Battles That Killed the Brand
Pride said: Fire Jude or I quit. Bragging said: Watch me blow without them. Reality said: The P-Square name was bigger than all 3 of you. You broke the pot to prove you were the water. Now there’s no pot, no water.

EFCC vs Jude in 2024? That was pride again. I must win even if the family burns. You won the case but lost the people. Because nobody bangs a court judgment in the club.

4. You Mistook Noise for Relevance.
Twitter fights. Instagram lives. Clapping back at trolls. You were the loudest in the room but the quietest on the charts. Pride told you as long as they’re talking about me, I’m winning. No, bro. As long as they’re streaming you, you’re winning. And they stopped.

The Hard Truth, Mr P.
Talent didn’t fail you. Character did. You can dance. You can perform. But music is 20% talent, 80% emotional intelligence.

Rudeboy moved on. Jude moved on. Even the fans moved on. You’re still explaining 2017 in 2026. That’s what pride does it keeps you in the past, defending a crown nobody is fighting for anymore.
