It really feels like the end of an era for the PS4 🕊️ After more than a decade, Sony has been steadily moving more of its focus toward PS5, including scaling back PS4 games in monthly PlayStation Plus offerings starting in 2026.
Reports also say some legacy PSN features for new PS4 releases could start being phased out in 2026, which only adds to the feeling that the console’s final chapter is getting closer. Sony hasn’t announced a total shutdown of the PS4 itself, but the transition is clearly happening.
The PS4 gave us an unbelievable run with classics like God of War, The Last of Us Part II, and Spider-Man. What is your favorite PS4 game of all time?
