🖤 ONE KING. THREE GOVERNMENTS. ONE PAINFUL TRUTH.
‎
‎Torusarama Piri — an ancient kingdom stretching from the New Calabar River to the Atlantic Ocean at the Gulf of Guinea — carries a wound too deep to ignore.
‎
‎At its heart lies Elem Ifoko: a proud fishing community rich in history, strength, and culture. Yet for decades, they have been abandoned by every level of government in Nigeria.
‎
‎🔴 The Federal Government spoke of Blue Economy, coastal development, and national progress — but Torusarama Piri was left behind.
‎
‎🔴 The Rivers State Government has championed the Blue Economy and brought hope to many coastal communities. Projects are moving. Opportunities are growing. Yet in the middle of this progress, Torusarama Piri remains forgotten — no hospitals, no quality schools, no clean water, no environmental justice, no support for its fishermen.
‎
‎🔴 The Local Government was closest of all, yet did the least.
‎
‎Three governments. Three failures.
‎
‎BUT ONE MAN STOOD FIRM.
‎
‎His Majesty King Mujahid Dokubo Asari, Dabaye Amakiri I, Amayanabo of the source refused to abandon his people.
‎
‎He did not wait for elections.
‎He did not wait for approval.
‎He did not wait for promises.
‎He did not wait for ecological funds.
‎He did not wait for NDDC.
‎
‎He chose action.
‎He chose sacrifice.
‎He chose his people.
‎
While three governments looked away, one King never did.
‎
‎THE FOUCHEE ATLANTIC PROJECT DEMANDS JUSTICE NOW:
‎
‎✅ Include Torusarama Piri in Governor Fubara’s Blue Economy agenda
‎✅ Build schools, hospitals, and clean water systems and social amenities.
‎✅ Empower our fishermen and coastal economy
‎✅ Begin environmental cleanup immediately
‎✅ Recognize the King who did what three governments refused to do

‎YOUR EXCELLENCY, ELEM IFOKO IS CRYING OUT TO YOU
‎
‎Dear Governor Siminalayi Fubara,
‎
‎We write this with tears in our eyes and hope still burning in our chests. We have watched with joy as your Blue Economy agenda breathes life into coastal communities across Rivers State. We have celebrated with our brothers and sisters as development reaches their shores, and clapped for you from a distance.
‎
‎But Your Excellency, who will clap for Elem Ifoko?
‎
‎We sit at the very mouth of the Atlantic Ocean, the gateway to Rivers State’s coastal glory, yet we have never felt the warmth of government presence. No light. No clean water. No healthcare. Generation after generation, our people have waited, hoped, and been forgotten.
‎
‎Then Providence sent us His Majesty, King Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari, the Amayanabo of The Source, Dabaye Amakiri 1. Where fear once reigned, he brought peace. Where chaos consumed us, he restored order. Where government was absent, he stood as father and protector. Our waters are calm today because of one man’s sacrifice and unconditional love for this community.
‎
‎Your Excellency, we are not here to criticize but we are here to appeal to your compassionate heart. The Fouchee Atlantic Project humbly implores you: extend your Blue Economy to Elem Ifoko. Light up our homes. Heal our children. Empower our fishermen. Include us in Rivers State’s future. One visit, one gesture, one decision from you can rewrite the story of Elem Ifoko forever.
‎
‎Your Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, we respectfully urge you to honor the sacrifice of King Dokubo Asari by extending your Blue Economy initiative to Elem Ifoko and Torusarama Piri, a development our community has long deserved.
‎
‎Please do not let us remain the forgotten community at the mouth of the Atlantic.
‎
‎With deep respect and undying hope,
‎•The Fouchee Atlantic Project•
