Here's an apology from Gbedu 100.1FM for misinforming the public about banditry attack at a school in Imota , Ikorodu, Lagos. My own apology follows:

Oh my goodness! In fact, my face is covered in shame for what this radio station did. It is a major journalistic ethics to confirm stories to be factual before going ahead to inform the masses. It's called verification code.

As news affects our lives and reactions, that's why it has to be total and factual. A whole functional national radio shouldn't have made this error. As a colleague and practicing journalist, I share in this shame and apologize on behalf of Gbedu FM once again. It really caused a wrong reaction in our school today.

*The Experience at BLI Spelling Bee 3.0*

On Saturday 16th May 2026, the much anticipated BLI Spelling Bee competition held at Sweethills Event Centre at Ijeshatedo, Surulere axis of Lagos State. Schools from across different Lagos areas like Festac, Surulere, Abule Egba, Ikorodu and even Mowe and Ifo in Ogun state were there present.

The participants and the supporters were highly enthusiastic to show the stuffs they have got. My daughter Hannah Adesanya of St. Morris College Adamo-Ikorodu, Lagos was our reason for been there this year and her sister Racheal Adesanya of Tinab Model School Adamo-Ikorodu and myself the father were there to render our supports. It was a fulfilling experience for us as such outings tend to breed confidence, strength and reawakening of abilities in our future leaders.

For me as a parent, memorable times like this spent with one's offsprings remains fresh and cannot be bought with money. In events like this, the winning prize is not actually the goal but the experience and exposure that come with it.

*At Kingdom Couples' Forum(KCF) Get Together/Couples' Retreat 2026*

Life is already too tough for marriage not to be enjoyed to the fullest. Apart from eating food, making money and all such, a happy home is the best thing you can ever wish for in life.

It was a great time at KCF Get Together/Couples' Retreat which held at Uzopat Event Centre on May 1st 2026 as there were lots of goodies to enjoy. The colourful atmosphere, couples' games, the musical attractions, the foods and most importantly the great lecture by global marriage coach/counselor Pastor Bisi Adewale were the real deal. It was quite refreshing and unions were strengthened and marital vows renewed. Wife and I decided not to be left out as time and resources spent on one's marriage is never a waist.

Thanks to the convener of KCF Ogunsola and the planning committee for a programme well packaged. Join us next time and thank yourself you did. At Kingdom Couples' Forum, happy home is our priority.
