OFFICIAL NOTICE

The National Secretariat of the Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (ACHPN) hereby calls on all members across the country to complete their electronic membership registration.

This is necessary to enable the leadership to effectively deliver on the promises made during their oath-taking upon assumption of office.

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP E-REGISTRATION

1. To update and maintain a comprehensive master database of all Community Health Practitioners (CHPs).

2. To ensure inclusiveness by capturing all practitioners across tertiary, secondary, and private health sectors.

3. To create and facilitate job opportunities for unemployed members.

4. To strengthen the welfare of members nationwide.

5. To position our database as a key tool in advancing Universal Health Coverage (UHC) at the Federal Ministry of Health.

6. To improve the coordination and communication among members across the country.
7. To enhance professional recognition and policy advocacy for Community Health Practitioners.

CALL TO ACTION

The National Secretariat cannot achieve these goals without your full support and cooperation.

*How to Identify CHPRBN-Accredited Training Institutions Using CHPRBN Portal*

*Step 1: Visit the Official CHPRBN Website*

click: https://chprbn.gov.ng

*Step 2: Check the "Institutions" or "Accredited Institutions" Page*

CHPRBN maintains an "Accredited Institutions" page; listing; Colleges, Schools, University Teaching Hospitals and Universities that meet CHPRBN’s standards.

*Step 3: Use the CHPRBN Integrated Systems Database*

The "CHPRBN Integrated Systems - Accredited Institutions" portal shows institution details: Code, Name, Type, Zone, State, LGA, and Address.
Examples: School of Health Technology Orji-River, College of Health Technology Eleyele, College of Community Health Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria, Nasarawa State University Keffi, Bayelsa State University of Medical Sciences.

*Step 4: Check Updated Lists by Zone*

CHPRBN publishes "UPDATED LIST OF ACCREDITED COMMUNITY HEALTH TRAINING INSTITUTIONS" by geopolitical zone showing:

- *Name of Training Institution*
- *State*
- *Type*: "FULL" or "PROVISIONAL" accreditation

*Step 5: Verify Through Registration & Databank Department*

The Department of Registration and Databank maintains the official Register of accredited training institutions.

*Key Things to Note:*

1. *Accreditation Types*: "FULL" or "PROVISIONAL". Both are CHPRBN-approved. "PROVISIONAL" means the institution has met some conditions

2. *Only Accredited Institutions Use the Integrated Portal*: Portal training is mandatory only for accredited institutions

3. *Avoid Unaccredited Schools*: Some unaccredited institutions are operating illegal programs. Non-participation in CHPRBN training attracts fines and sanctions
