An award-winning comedian, actor, event host, skit maker, and on-air personality, Kalbang is one of northern Nigeria’s most recognisable entertainment voices. Known for her warmth, quick wit, and effortless connection with audiences, she brings the perfect mix of energy and insight to the stage.
A graduate of Theatre and Film Arts with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Kalbang combines a strong academic foundation with years of experience across comedy, theatre, broadcasting, and live events. She is currently an on-air personality with Rhythm FM, Jos.
A few things to know about Kalbang:
- She is the first female commercial comedian from Jos.
- She created, produced and hosted six editions of her own comedy shows, The Witness and Intemperanter.
- She is an accomplished actor and theatre director, with productions including All My Sons and The Court Order.
- She hosted major events including the 2025 NUGA Games at the University of Jos and the 2025 Jos International Festival of Theatre.
As Creative Director of Maman Mu Media, Kalbang continues to champion creativity across comedy, theatre, media, and live entertainment, while inspiring the next generation of storytellers and performers.
