AFTER YEARS OF NEGLECT, MONKIN ROAD FINALLY RECEIVES ATTENTION — PROF. DAN'AZUMI JACOB EARNS THE PEOPLE'S PRAISE!!

Anthony Manzo served as Senator for four years. Anthony Jellason served as Commissioner under Rev. Jolly Nyame’s administration and later as Secretary to the State Government under the Dickson Darius’s administration for about eight years. Kizito Bonzena is currently serving as the member representing Zing Constituency and also serving as Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly.

Yet, despite occupying these influential political positions, they could not facilitate the kind of visible development we are witnessing today. Nevertheless, some hungry and desperate individuals continue to applaud them despite their inability to deliver such tangible projects.

As far as I am concerned, and by the virtue of reality, Prof. Dan’azumi Jacob deserves the applause. This is a man who had never occupied any major political office before. Yet, upon assuming public office for the first time, he has demonstrated commitment to development in his community.

Despite holding a position that cannot be compared to those occupied by the aforementioned politicians, and despite not spending many years in office, his impact is already visible.

Just look at the Monkin road today after many years of neglect and abandonment.

A warm appreciation to Prof. Dan’azumi Jacob for making the construction of the Monkin road a reality after it had been ignored for so long by those who are under obligation to develop it.
