What has happened in the just distribution of motorcycles in Iwo local government is nothing short of blatant bias and deliberate exclusion.

Ta’awunu Security risked lives, protected public institutions, and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with law enforcement during the EndSARS crisis and other days all without a single kobo of compensation. While others stayed back, their men were on the streets day and night ensuring that Iwoland did not descend into chaos.

Yet, when it is time to support and recognize genuine sacrifice, the same group is ignored and sidelined, while others with far less record of service are favored. This is not just unfair—it is an insult to dedication and sacrifice.

After multiple letters, meetings, and repeated assurances from government officials, this outcome exposes a troubling reality: decisions are being driven by favoritism, politics, and selective recognition—not merit or service.

Let it be clearly stated:
This kind of injustice will not be ignored or quietly accepted.

If leadership cannot reward sincerity and sacrifice, then it is actively discouraging those who genuinely put their lives on the line for the community.

I hereby demand:

Immediate explanation for this biased distribution

Transparency in the selection process

Urgent corrective action to address this injustice

Iwoland deserves leadership that is fair, accountable, and just—not one that rewards loyalty over service.

Enough is enough.
